Installation & Inspection

Sovereign offers a complete on-site construction service, using our own fully trained and experienced personnel, and all installations are undertaken in accordance with BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177 recommendations.

However, if you don’t want to take advantage of our installation service, we can deliver the play equipment to your site on a supply-only basis, complete with full instructions. If required, we can provide a Sovereign Supervisor to oversee and co-ordinate the customer’s own installation team.

We are CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) accredited and have three RPII (Register of Play Inspectors International) qualified members of staff who carry out frequent post installation inspections.

The ‘Government Code of Good Practice for Play Safety’ states that play areas shall be inspected weekly by a competent person; preferably who has some basic training.  RoSPA recommend conducting a regime of weekly-recorded routine inspections of the play area, looking for very obvious faults, and a monthly, more detailed operational inspection.

Sovereign supply a complementary After Care Manual that includes check sheets for performing weekly routine inspections.
